In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we extend our deepest sympathies to everyone affected by this devastating storm. The loss and destruction caused by the hurricane have been heartbreaking, and we understand how overwhelming it can be to rebuild and recover after such an event. Many homes, especially in South Tampa, have been severely damaged or flooded, and we want to offer a solution to help ease the burden during this challenging time.
At Nika Corporate Housing, we are here to provide you with a temporary, fully furnished home while yours is being repaired. Our corporate housing offers a comfortable, all-inclusive option, perfect for families and individuals displaced by the storm. We understand the urgency of finding a safe place to stay, and we’re ready to assist you with prompt, efficient service.
Corporate housing provides a convenient and stress-free alternative to hotels or short-term rentals. We offer fully furnished, all-inclusive (utilities, media, housewares) apartments that come with everything you need to settle in quickly. Here’s how the process works:
Our flexible lease terms cater to both short- and long-term stays. Whether you need temporary housing for a few weeks or several months, we’re here to accommodate your situation. Here’s an idea of our starting nightly rates:
We realize that many people have never used corporate housing, and may expect prices to be lower than they are. Please consider that with recent inflation and current short-supply of open apartments, the rent for the basic apartment alone can exceed $2500 to $3500 per month (that translates to over $100 or more per day just in rent) . Apartment communities also charge us a corporate or short-term fee that adds several hundred dollars to the base rent. Add to that furniture, utilities, media, taxes, fee’s, insurance, overhead and operations costs, and perhaps you can see that it is more involved than just looking at an apartment communities website and expecting the unfurnished rent costs.
These rates, although perhaps higher than expected, still represent significant value when compared to a hotel or extended stay hotel, since we are providing a full-up functioning apartment verses a cramped hotel or extended stay room with little to no amenities like kitchens or in unit laundry.
For those needing housing longer than six months, significant savings are available. If your lease exceeds six months, we can avoid the 12% to 14% hospitality tax (depending on the county), further reducing costs and making the arrangement more affordable for long-term stays.
As you might suspect, we are currently experiencing a very large demand for our temporary housing. While we currently have limited open inventory, we can set up new units in just a few days to ensure that you have a safe and comfortable place to stay while your home is being repaired.
Our team works swiftly to coordinate everything, making your transition as smooth as possible. We have been providing temporary housing for over 21 years, so we have it down to a science.
In this difficult time, we are committed to helping our community recover by providing comfortable, convenient housing solutions. Let us take care of the logistics, so you can focus on what matters most—getting your life back on track.
